Though his character has remained stoic and fairly mysterious for the duration of the issue, I deliberately masked Arion’s emotions in shadow for this closing shot. This isn’t the first time he’s seen this, and all he can do is march onward.

You’re correct — while our site runs on the venerable WordPress/ComicPress system, I’ve created a custom “child theme” and done a lot of coding to get things positioned and working just how I want ’em. It’s been a lot of work but a great learning experience (and hopefully a better reading experience as well).
