This scene, as originally written, was quite laughable: Trellis heals Aliyana and they proceed to have a friendly chat, with Aliyana apparently having forgotten when Trellis threw Arion overboard to die. The subsequent rewrite of this scene, particularly Aliyana’s anger, further propelled her character where she needed to be.
