Black Rose

One of the things we’re still figuring out is how to depict Black Rose‘s magic visually. I’m of the strong opinion that the grounded variety of magic we’re portraying should be similarly grounded visually — no dramatic lightning bolts or fireballs for no reason. But as comics are a visual medium, omitting all visual clues that a spell is being cast can be TOO subtle. Expect to see us tinker with our approach as this arc continues.
