Black Rose

At some point while inking this issue, in my infinite wisdom, I had this page along with a stack of others lying on the floor near my desk when I bumped a cup of ink wash off my desk and onto the floor. This page was heavily splashed with the wash. I had to redraw the last two panels and was able to salvage the rest of the page with a lot of white out and strategic line retraces! I aimed to push the creepy warping of the guardsmen in panel 7 to emphasize the effects of the “mind grabbing”.
